Obituary of Warren Myers

Myers, Warren John a lifelong resident of Thamesville passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the age of 85. Born in Chatham, son of the late Clement and Caroline
(Lewis) Myers. He was the youngest of eleven children. In 1962 he married Gloria (Laprise) and together they had the 4 W’s. Loving father of Warren and Mary
Ann Myers, Wanda and Ron Broad, Wade and Tracey Myers, Wanita Myers and Chopper LeClerc. Proud Papa to Matthew (Janine), Kristen, Chelsea (Lucas), Taylor (Amanda), Sydney, Brilee, Briden, and Bricen. Proud great papa to Mason, Sage and Arwin. Dear brother-in-law of Elizabeth Myers and Lois Myers. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Elmer (Cecile) Myers, Reta (Leonard) Demers, Ernest (Evangeline) Myers, Phyllis (Steve) Ranchuck, Gerald Myers, Ursula (Arsene) Demers, James Myers, Irwin (Elda) Myers, Irene (Erwin) Holmes and Doreen (John) Weston.
He was referred to by many as Sanford as his love of auction sales allowed him to acquire a random collection that rivaled the local hardware store. He was known as the fix it man as he was always
there to lend a hand and usually had the parts to get the job done. He and Mom enjoyed countless years of camping where they made many lifelong friends and memories.
His jack of all trade’s flexibility allowed him to enjoy a variety of work including Myers Brothers Gulf, Bull Dog Steel Wool, driving bus for Badder Bus, many years of truck driving, RV maintenance man to
many and Navistar where he spent 22 years until he retired in 1999. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #367 for many years and was a former
member of the Thamesville Fire Department. He will be remembered for his quick wit, smart ass comebacks, a cold beer in hand and his devilish smirk.Cremation has taken place The Myers Family will receive family and friends  for visitation at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville, on Friday January 6, 2023 from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #367, Thamesville or the Thamesville Firemens Association would be appreciated by the family.
