Our sincere sympathy to you all. George sure was an amazing man and neighbor over the years. We grew peppers years ago and would be grading them in the shed very late at night . Whenever we needed a hand especially with the Hydro we’d call and he’d be right there. He was always so supportive of us. He was always so interested in what we were doing. He always encouraged us in our adventures! Such wonderful memories! Rest well!!! Well never forget you!!

Dear Mary Ellen,
My sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your dad. I have fond memories of our times together with you and Michael growing up on the farm across the road from your mom and dad and your uncle Eddie and aunt Shirley. Your dad was always friendly and kind to me. George will also be sadly missed by his neighbours on the 7th concession (Brook Line) and the Dresden farming community.

Mary Ellen and family, so sorry to hear about the passing of George. He has been a great neighbor for many- many years. We have many great memories of George and always appreciated how he looked after and cared about all of the neighbors that lived close to him. He was always willing to help out whatever the need and he was especially good to my parents on the farm and helped them out whenever they ran into difficulties. George will be truly missed in the neighborhood. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. May the Lord's peace and comfort be with you.

George definitely grew a special place in my heart over the last 4 years of caring for him. I loved our weekly visits, our chats about farming and how the garden was coming along each year.
He will forever be remembered and missed by both my husband and I.
