Charlie March, a resident of Thamesville, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Chatham-Kent Health Allianceat the age of 84. Born in Chatham, the son of the lateHarvey and PhyllisMarch. Beloved husband of 58 years to Betsy (Cofell) March. Loving dad of the late Denny March (2004). Cherished Poppa to Deni March (Jesse Ost) and Hunter March. Dear brother-in-law of Jack Cofell (Sharron) and the late Jim Cofell. Proud uncle of Angela, Ashlie, Jami and the late Candice Cofell. Missed by his cat Missy. Predeceased by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Garnet & Betty Cofell. Charlie enjoyed over 50 years at the Mariners Trailer Park in Erieau. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked at the Thamesville Telephone Company, Rockwell and OES. He was a member of the Royal Canadain Legion Br. 367 since 1991. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and PSW's of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for their incredible care shown to Charlie. Also a big thank you to the friends and neighbours who have supported the family during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion Br. 367, Thamesvilleon Saturday, September 9, 2023 from1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
