Obituary of Judy (Hyatt) Tricker
Judith Arlene (Hyatt) Tricker
At Chatham General Hospital on Monday, October 23, 2023, after a short, but valiant battle with cancer, Judy fought it to a draw. She had absolute faith in where she was going and was at peace in the end. Feisty from her birth on January 7, 1950 in Michigan, USA, Judy was a force. Beloved wife of David A. Tricker of Dresden. Loving mother of Julie Clancy (Greg) of Waterloo and David R. H. Tricker (Nathalie) of Alpharetta, Georgia. Proud grandma of Madison, Dylan, Callan, Nolan, and Claire. Dear sister of Rachelle Hughes of London (Ed, deceased) and Heather Hyatt of Leamington and sister-in-law of Jim and Pat Tricker of Dresden, Fred and Chris Tricker of Seagrove Beach, Florida, Janet Eagleson of Port Elgin (Doug, deceased), and Fran Hyatt (Bobby, deceased) of Chatham. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and dear cousins. Predeceased by and reunited with her parents, Bob and Alda Hyatt and her brother, Bobby Hyatt. Judy retired from a rewarding career as a law teacher and guidance counsellor at CKSS in Chatham. She loved baking, playing cards, and winning at Boggle. We thank everyone for their prayers and kind words during the past few months. Family and friends will be received at Dresden Community Church on Saturday, October 28 at 10 a.m. Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local food bank or a charity of your choice. “Love has no ending”.
