Obituary of Bob Wheeler

Wheeler:" Robert "Bob" a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at Riverview Garden's on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the age of 89. Born in Moose Jaw, SK., son of the late Richard and Victoria (Walker) Wheeler. Bob had retired after many years working for Sarnia Propane. He loved old cars especially his 1962 studebaker gran turismo hawk. Bob and Lorraine loved to travel, and he enjoyed hisgreenhouse and the many flowers he planted. Beloved husband of 64 years to Lorraine (Dawson) Wheeler. Loving father of Steve Wheeler (Gwen), Mark Wheeler, and Glenda McDonald (Ian). Proud grandpa ofShawn, Lisa, Catherine, Michelle, Jessica (Cody), Austin and his 4 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Raymond Wheeler (Glennis). Predeceased by his sisters Kathleen, Violet, and brothers Don, Jack and Bill.Also survived by many niecesand nephews. Bob was an  " Honorary Patterson " and will  be sadly missed by the Patterson Family. We would like to thank the  nurses and staff on 2nd floor E., for the wonderful care they provided to Bob.  At Bob's request cremation will take place. A private family graveside service will be held at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date.
