Obituary of Donna Deighton

DEIGHTON: Donna a resident of Guelph passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at London Health Science Centre at the age of 85. She was born in Dresden daughter of the late William George and Mary Catherine (McAlister) Deighton. Loving sister of Hugh Deighton. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Lorne, Ellie (Booth), Bernie (Penfound) and Laurie. Lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews. Donna was a retired nurse that practiced at Victoria Hospital in London (Colbourne 1) the first years of her career. She then became a member of Canada Employment Agency, Simcoe and retired from Canada Employment Agency, Guelph at the age of 70. Donna will be sadly missed by her family for her loving compassion, generous heart and the humourous memories that she has left us all. The Deighton family will receive friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North Street, Dresden on Monday, June 27, 2011 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
