to vacation up at the Blind River Cottage . Before the road! Another memory is visiting with you both down in Florida with the Trollopes, who we have lost as well.

I was a Vice-Principal in the late 1990’s and Tom was a colleague. Although we were at different schools, he was always helpful and generous with his time and advice. He was a fine gentleman and will be remembered fondly. RIP Tom.

I had the pleasure of being on the LKCS teaching staff with Tom and coached with him throughout my 16 years as a fellow Cardinal. He was great colleague
who frequently hosted staff social
functions that were always full of fun and laughter.
Unfortunately, we were away from home this past week and could not attend his celebration of life. My wife Shirly and I send our condolences to Heather and family.

We are so saddened to hear that Tom has passed away. We had so many wonderful fun memories of times with you in Florida. Tom was always up for a good golf game, Or a dinner at Mannys. My heartfelt sympathy to the Hawken families and friends – we had many good times together over the years – I had a chance to visit Tom a few days ago and suggested time for a poker game – dealt some cards out (imaginary) and Tom ended up with an unbeatable hand – five aces ! Tom smiled - he enjoyed life and he enjoyed competition, his last game a winner. RIP Tom

Condolences to the family of Tom Hawkins from the Johnson and Corrente families! Tom was a revered teacher and coach of many children of Fred Johnson at LKCS. We also remember Tom as a rival basketball coach and as an administrator at Ridgetown High School when we supply taught there. He was respected as an educator and beloved by his teams. “Hawk” was one of the teachers that I had who was respected in and out of the classroom. He was a competitor
In every sport that he ever played and he hated to lose. There are many basketball memories from LKCS that many of us will cherish forever.
Hawk you will be missed by many as you touched the lives of many people during your time at LKCS.

Tom was my first tennis instructor when I was about 10 yrs old. Tom allowed me to take tennis lessons with the adults at LKCS. I have fond memories of playing and learning with him and for that I am grateful. My condolences to the family
