Obituary of Debra Anne Bray
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Bray, a beloved wife, mother, and cherished friend. Debra peacefully departed this world on Septmber17, 2024.
Debra was born on September 15, 1956 to Norma Simmons (Roy). She grew up in Stratford and later moved to Chatham-Kent,
Debra was a devoted wife to Tracy, her partner in life’s journey. Together, they built a home filled with love, warmth, and countless memories. Their bond was unbreakable, and their love story will forever inspire those who knew them.
Debra’s greatest joy came from being a mother. Predeceased by her first husband Stanley R. Lowe. They raised two remarkable daughters, Jennifer and Angela Lowe. Debra’s nurturing spirit, wisdom, sense of humour and kindness shaped their lives, and her legacy lives on through them.
Debra’s departure leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, but her memory will forever be etched in our hearts. As we say goodbye, let us remember her infectious laughter, her warm hugs, and the love she shared with each of us.
Rest in peace, dear Debra. You will be missed, but your spirit will live on in the sunsets, the blooming flowers, and the gentle breeze. Perhaps even the odd thunderstorm.
A special thank you goes out to Sandy and Doug Ashbourne and family. Remembering fondly uncle Ron Touzel, cousin Suzie Davidson and my in-laws Terry and Chyvonne Bray.
To the London Regional Cancer Center, Chatham Kent Health Alliance Oncology Department and all others who helped us navigate this journey, when we fell in a pothole, dug us out, lifted us up, and reminded us it was ours to travel, and we were not alone... Thank You
