Obituary of John W. "Bud" Martin
John W. "Bud" Martin, a resident of Wallaceburg and formerly of Dresden, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 89. Born in Chatham, the son of the late Vaughn and Coryll (Pegg) Martin. Bud was a member for 60 years of the Pnyx Baldoon Lodge No.312, Wallaceburg A.F. & A.M. and formerly of the Sydenham Lodge, Dresden No.255 A.F. & A.M. He was also a member of the Dresden Community Church. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (Jenkins) Martin 2023. Loving dad of Brenda Newnham (Michael) and Brad Martin (Kim). Proud grandpa of Jessalynn (Paul), Kasey (Matt) and Caitlin (Jake). Sadly missed by his great grandchildren Taya, Vienna and Mack John. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Joanne Reynolds (the late Rev. Art), the late Keith Martin (Olive). Family and friends will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Sunday from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. with a Masonic Lodge Service at 12:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
