Obituary of Georgina Violette Rivest

RIVEST:  GEORGINA V. (MOLLON), passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, Chatham on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the age of 71. Born in Chatham, beloved daughter of Pamela (Boon) Mollon and the late William Mollon. Beloved wife and best friend of Wayne Rivest. Loving mother of Geoffrey Rivest (Suzanne), Justin Rivest (Crystal) and Candice Rivest (Keith). Sadly missed by her grandchildren Emma, Kinser, Braden, Sophia, Grace and Cillian. Dear sister of Cyndi Konkin (Tim), and Faye Schram (Tim). She will be fondly remembered by the Rivest Family. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Georgina enjoyed crafting and doll making and had a great love for the outdoors and nature. She loved caring for her dogs, peacocks, chickens and meticulously maintaining her flower gardens. She loved having campouts and fishing from the riverbank on their property with her family and especially her grandchildren. The Rivest Family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A Graveside Interment will be held in Dresden Cemetery on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
