Obituary of Gordon Lester McBrayne

Gordon Lester McBrayne, a resident of Dresden and founder of McBrayne’s Feed & Supply Ltd., passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Fairfield Park, Wallaceburg at the age of 98. Born in Sombra Township, the son of the late Jack and Belle (Boyle) McBrayne. Beloved husband of the late Elma Lois (Krohn) McBrayne. Cherished father to Allen & Sandy McBrayne, Bill & Jean McBrayne, and Cathy Adkin (the late Keith). Forever missed by his grandchildren Adam McBrayne (Christella), Alex McBrayne (Crystal), Krystal Chambers (Jason), Leanna McCallum (Nick), Natasha Brewer (Will), Kyle Adkin, Spencer Adkin, and great-grandchildren Gracey McBrayne, Tony Antoniou, Lucas, Edwin & Fraser Chambers, Jack & Graham McCallum, and Emmitt, Alice & Isla Brewer. Survived by sisters-in-law Mary Ellen McBrayne and Joyce Krohn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Keith McBrayne. The McBrayne family will receive family & friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Thursday from 5:00 Pm – 8:00 PM.  The funeral service will be held  from the funeral home on  Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
