Deepest sympathies upon the passing of your Dad. I had talked to him at the Dawn Central School anniversary event last year. He had told me about Kevin living in Hong Kong, and was very proud of his accomplishments. I had attended school with Kevin, which seems like quite a long while ago. Once again, my sympathies to the family.

To the Smith Family
Lorne and Dorthy were good cousins for many years. I looked up to them as a child as they were pillars of the Thamesville community.
At this time please rejoice in Lorne and Dorthy living long lives and having a harmoneous relationship that lasted for six decades.
As we live the rest of our lives may we may use them as shining examples of lives well lived.

As an 9 or 10 year old I was lucky to spend a summer holiday with uncle Cameron, aunt Olive ,Lorne and Stewart .Lorne and Stewart loved to joke and I can still recall the farm activities....community threshing ,great food and Lorne teaching me how to pass the butter and slyly passing the butter plate to me so that my finger would be pushed into the butter.I have tried the trick myself but never as smooth as Lorne who was the master.Lorne always had a great smile and a story and I know that mother and dad enjoyed a visit with Dorothy and Lorne and their children. What a multi talented man and I know his activities touched a lot of people.Sorry we are so far away that we cannot be with the family for Lorne's service, but we will be thinking of Lorne as his friends and family gather to remember to recall some personal memories.
Love to the family

We offer our most sincere condolences to the family and friends. We were fortunate to have met and known Lorne and Dorothy at the KOA in Florida for many seasons. We shared many nights playing cards, dominoes, playing music and just having fun...They were special people. The friendship endured and we got to meet their children and grandchildren. You are in our thoughts and our prayers.
