Dear Don:
I was shocked to read the notice of Colleen's death. I did not know she had been ill. Now I am told that she has been ill for much of her retirement years if my source of information is correct. What a shame.
I extend my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Colleen was such a gentle, sweet person and a great teacher. It was obvious on my visits to her classroom that she loved each and every student in her class.
I keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Colleen Allison is no more with us. This shocking news I got over phone filled me with profound sadness. I felt as if someone of my own family have passed away. The only consolation is that now all her worldly worries are over and she is in a better place.
