Roesch: Gladys Luella (Peters) a resident of R.R. # 2 Florence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance – Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg at the age of 88. She was born in Dover Twp., daughter of the late William and Pearly (Reynolds) Peters. Beloved wife of Henry J. Roesch. Loving mother of Barbara Beckett (Ron) of Shetland, Linda Peters (Grant) of Florence, John Roesch (Janice) of Ancaster. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Annette Schliehauf (Chris), Don Beckett, KayLien Peters, Neela Peters, Beverly Girard (Trevor), John Roesch (Brandy) and 7 great – grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Verna Bedford, Eleanor Long and a brother Dayton Peters. The Roesch family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 11:00am with Bob Hodgson officiating. Interment in Shetland Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of one’s choice.
