Dear Kathy, Donna and Ellen,
I was so sad to hear the news about your Mom. She is the only other Midge I knew besides myself. I remember her so vividly from my childhood, she was a sweet and kind lady, always with a smile on her face. She was like a second Mom to my brothers Dave and Steve who both claimed Jimmy to be their best friend and she was a good friend of my Mom. I know your heart is broken, it's not easy to lose a Mom. My sincere condolences to you and your families.
Love and hugs,
Midge Silberman (Lewis)

Sincere condolences for all Mabel's family, friends and all that loved her. I haven't seen her or any of you for many years so you may not remember me. Ivor and Fleda-Houston-Dunlop were my parents. They were also parents to Uncle Earl and Auntie Mabels' son Harold Leroy Houston ( Budd). We were raised together as siblings. I am very close to Tommy Budds' oldest son. Haven't seen his second son, Clyde since 1971. YJ

Midge, I always told you if Annie Joyce dosen't end up in heaven then there is no heaven and I feel the same about you. I knew you as a mother to your children, a husband to Nub and Gord, a grandmother to your grandchildren but most of all you were a dear friend to me through the good and bad. You touched many lives throughout your lifetime and you will be dearly missed by many people.
You have left me with a lifetime of great memories that I will treasure throughout the remainder of my life.
Good Bye Midge

Aunt Mame will surely be missed by her roommates, friends, and most especially her family. She was a straight-talker and you always knew what she was thinking - good or bad!
My thoughts are with you at this time. I hope you find comfort in the fact that her suffering is over and she knew she was loved by so many. Donna, on our visits to see her in Ridgetown she often expressed how lucky she was to have you and Garnie in her life and how much you did for her.
