Dear Mike, Lauren, Paula and family,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of your Dad. I have many memories of when we were kids and we would visit your farm and you visit ours. My parents adored your father. They had much in common. I remember them visiting under the red maple tree at our farm laughing together as they told stories. They were close, being friends for most of their lives.
The last time I saw him he was having a coffee at Tim Horton's in Ridgetown. I sat with him and we caught up. I was always struck by his kind, gentle nature which shone out through his eyes. Whenever he spoke of you, they lite up!
Wrap yourselves in his beautiful presence and carry his goodness with you.

Papa lorne,
I don't have words for what has happend, You've always had a dear and strong place in my heart, I will never ever forget you, and what you've all done for us. You were just like a papa to me, even though not blood. I will always remember all the laughs and cry's we have had throughout my 18 years. There is no other man, as lovable as you, we had our ups and downs, and little fights and yells but I know you and I would always just get over it and start to laugh about it. Lorne I can't seem to get this through my mind, you've had a long rough hall the past year. I'm happy to see you resting, but heart broken to have you gone and with us no longer. I will always remember our little jokes and everything, I can just hear me asking you to say that funny little thing you said so perfectly and not knowing where you got it at all... "bingo bango bongo, im the leader of the Congo" i honestly have no idea where you got it or where you thought of it, but I loved when you said it. You always lit up my world, and always had me smiling. Lorne I love you, and I will never ever forget you. Please keep me safe and watch over me forever. I love you so so Much xo
