Obituary of Bruce Kingsley Carter
Bruce Kingsley Carter, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 31st, 2017 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with his family by his side at the age of 90. Born in Chatham Township, son of the late Roy and Violet (Levi) Carter. Beloved husband of Barbara (Lambkin) for 64 years. Loving father of Gayle Salisbury, Cathy Carter and Susan Chaulk. He will be dearly missed by his cherished grandsons Graham and Harper Lockwood. Dear brother of Richard (Yvonne) Carter. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his sister Marie (Melvin) McCorkle and brother Donald (Ruby) Carter. Bruce was well-known in the local farming community and a long-time sales rep for Pioneer Seed Corn. Cremation has taken place with interment at a later date. Friends and relatives will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden, Thursday, January 4th, 2-5 pm and Friday, January 5th, 4-7 pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6th, 2 pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9375 River Line, Chatham.
