We were very saddened to hear about the death of our former neighbour Pieter Poppe. He was a wonderful man. We have many memories of Mr Poppe and the many kind things he did that nurtured an abundant harvest on his farm, a caring and beloved family and his love of producing food that fed others not only locally but around the World. His presence made a difference in the lives of many. May his family be comforted. Our sincere condolences. Allan & Hazel McDonald & our family. Sorry to hear about the passing of Peter. Peter was truly a man of strong faith that I highly admired and had many wonderful discussions with about our Lord over the great many years that I knew him. I just recently had a good visit with both Peter and Joanne at the Wallaceburg seniors residence about 2 weeks ago, and I will miss seeing him when I go to visit there in the future. What a wonderful life Peter had right up to the end - still driving and always interested in learning what was happening in farming.
