My heart goes out to Starlene and Stephon and your families. He will always be my Uncle Willie. A kind and generous man who never changed and never seemed to grow old. It is so sad that he is gone and he will be missed by many. I take comfort in the belief that he is reunited with Aunt Maud and the two will never be apart again. Starlene... Where do I begin to say something about a guy who has been part of our backyard lives for over 40 years...I do know, you could not ever ask for a better neighbor.. a go to guy to borrow something ..someone to have a beer with (or maybe 2).I can still remember the day he was pushing Jenn down the little hill on the alley on her bike ..encouraging her the whole time telling her she could do it! Shep always had Perry pile the snow in the alley so Scott could build his snow fort. And then there was Dave and Shep...Those stories best left unsaid :). That is just who Shep was. And we were lucky enough to have 40 years with him. We have so many funny, sad, emotional, precious memories we will alway hold in our Hearts. Thanks Starlene for sharing your Dad with us. Threw every smile and tears Starlene Qyour Dad will always be right there with you..safely tucked away in your Heart... Rest Well Shep..Safe Journey. We will miss you!

We have so many good memories of Shep. Whenever he went into the pump room, he always forgot how low the doorway was, and he had do that quite often. We loved his visits and stories, and the treats we shared at our house, and at his when we visited him, the last being on his 91st birthday. So glad we made it then. Loved that man.
