My heartfelt sympathy to Betty, Brian and to all of Gerlad's family.
I was fortunate to have known Gerald since his arrival at St. Andrew's. He was mostly quiet and kept to himself, but he loved to talk about his beloved family and his farm. Whenever family visited or he would take a ride out to his farm, he would always have that radiant smile that spread from ear to ear.
In the winter, I would see Gerald with a bowl full of walnut shells and the jars of walnuts lined up waiting to be picked up. He enjoyed keeping his hands busy.
I'll miss his brilliant smile, his chuckle and his calm, quiet disposition.
I'll remember him everytime I see walnuts.
Forever in my heart.
I miss you, Gerald.
