We met Steve a few years ago, when he opened the ice cream shop in Thamesville.
Right away he wanted to know who we were. We gave him our names and as per most story tellers, we have met, He knew he recognized the name. Well than he wanted more and I assure you he got what he was looking for?
He loved that ice cream shop( my opinion) and loved watching people enjoy especially kids.
Our Respect Revolution was treated to ice cream every time we performed in Thamesville area and it had to be his treat to us - his way. Anything the kids or we wanted. He also talked to me about hockey, some teammates, line mates, some people
I know, some I did not, some of the players related to him some not. Loved it all. We will miss him, his smiles, his stories. Mike and Brenda Neuts

Marg and Patti,
You have lost a great son and brother and we have lost a dear friend. Den and I will miss seeing and talking with him. If not for Steve and Barry we would not have graduated from L.K.C.S.
The saying of “a friend in need is a friend in deed” fit Steve to a tee. If you needed a pair of hands or an opinion you could always count on Steve. We always kept in touch through his good times and bad times and remained friends regardless of the situation.
There were a lot of great memories between the Wilson and Wicks over the years and we have them to cherish for the rest of our days.
Marg and Patti, remember the laughs that Steve gave you throughout his short lifetime.

So sorry to hear about Steve and feel so bad that Fred and I are away for the celebration of his life. Steve and I always had great conversations and I always reminded him of what a pain in the neck he was when I babysat him. I would say that his parents were so nice and paid so well that I couldn't turn that job down even though I knew I would spend most of the time chasing him. His sister I noted was always perfect.
