Obituary of Douglas Allan Robinson
Douglas Allan Robinson, a resident of RR#3, Dresden, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 86. Born in Dawn Twp, the son of the late David and Marjorie (McCatty) Robinson. Beloved husband of Ellen (McLean) Robinson for 52 years. Predeceased by sisters Marguerite Elliott (Claire), Wilma Evans, Kay Ransbury (Murray) and infant brother Kenneth. Survived by sister-in-law Carolyn & brother-in-law Barry Fraser, sister-in-law Karen & brother-in-law Cameron McLean. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Doug spent his entire life on the family farm. His knowledge of ‘three-day’ Dawn Clay was certainly put to use at planting and harvesting time. He took pleasure in looking after his cattle. His mechanical ability was useful on farm machinery. Doug worked hard, had a good sense of humour and enjoyed life.
Family and friends will be received at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
